Welcome to our web site!
For regular visitors to the site take a look at our new page 'What You Say' - we are sharing your frustrations in public - perhaps the operators may take notice soon. Click on the link above.
We have taken the campaign to Southbury, Turkey Street, Brimsdown, Enfield Lock, Ponders End, Bush Hill Park and Enfield Town stations where we have met many fellow passengers and collected their views, in writing, on the level of service they get from one railway.
The Enfield Rail Campaign is working to improve our stations and train services across Enfield.
LATEST ! Click on the link below to send the campaign letter to the Rail Operator for the re-instatement of the semi fast service on the Southbury loop!

We now have now received over 2000 signed pledge cards and on line signatures from rail passengers across the borough. The campaign is rolling our across the borough. However, whilst our support from the public is good, we are having trouble getting responses to all your - but by no means have we given up.
In fairness, where there are improvements we are more than happy to say so, but were your issues are not being dealt with we will continue to vigorously argue the case for improvement
In the meantime we continue to need to get as many as possible so please encourage your fellow passengers to register on line to Sign the Petition
Do you believe Enfield commuters put up with some of the worst services in the country? Do you feel timetables can't be trusted, journeys are too long, and stations are often unmanned? And all this against a background of rising fares. Clearly many of you do judging by the response to our campaign !Latest news & what we are doing
Do you feel that:
The stations are dark, dirty and often unmanned
When we turn up to catch a train in the morning, we have no idea whether there will be any trains at all
Fed up with battling the rail network just to get to work, or get home to see our kids before bedtime
What we believe:
We need to trust that the trains will be on time
We need a timetable that reflects journey times
Our stations need to be clean and secure
More carriages are needed to stop dangerous overcrowding
Our stations need improved CCTV, more lighting and more staff
Passengers need to feel - and be - safe

Our hope is that with an integrated campaign working with rail users we will be able to generate substantial public support to get changes that will improve the service. Meanwhile here is a hint of the frustration passengers feel as the latest complaint we received today
"This is a joke this morning (May 6th). No trains and I had to ask the lady to make the announcement. I am furious. The information board was also giving incorrect information. I am not happy!!''
"After Ponders End Station, Tottenham Hale is our next stop. The train, most often comprising of 8 coaches, often arrives in an overcrowded conditition. When the train is formed of 4 coaches only, it is impossible to board. If the Train operator knows at the onset of a journey that a sort formed train will give problems further along the line, why don't they make arrangements to stop other trains to ease the problem? Thet don't. They never have, never will. There is an inabillity by them ( the operator) to calculate the required size of a train based on season ticket sales. Nor do they take into account the extra number of new houses being built along the route, or, the extra passengers these houses will afford them.''
